Josh Turner Shipshewana reviews
Josh is good, but don't overlook Mo Pitney
Mo Pitney opened the show for Josh. What a talent. I knew that Mo was a good songwriter, but I never realized that he was also a good singer and guitar picker. Also has a good rapport with the audience. Mo did a 30 minute set, but I would be willing to see him on his own show. Josh had a good show, but the sound was a little too loud for that venue. He could also lose the lights and smoke too. He doesn't need that stuff. It is actually is a distraction from his talent. Josh just needs to come on stage and sing. Maybe talk to the audience a bit. That is what the truly talented performers do.
Great Experience.
I’m not a Country music fan at all, but my wife is and this was for her. First, it was great to have seats and actually be able to use them. Been to some concerts where you pay hundreds of dollars for a seat but end up standing the whole time because someone I front of you decides that sitting in a seat is overrated. Second, Josh sounded just like he does on the radio, credit to him and his talent. Lastly, Harrahs was nice and the venue was rather small and comfortable, even being sold out it was not crowded or uncomfortable. Overall well done!
